Install guide for eSIM on Google Pixel

Get your eSIM going in a dash!
Step 1: Get Yourself Ready
- Ensure you are connected to a stable wi-fi or internet connection.
- Either print the QR code or share to another device.
Step 2: Install Your e SIM
- To start the eSIM install process, open Settings.
Select "Network and Internet" > Tap “SIMs” > Tap “Add SIM” - On the ‘Connect to mobile network’ screen.
Select "Download a SIM instead" > Tap "Next" - Grab the print-out or other device with your QR code.
Now, scan the QR code. Proceed by tapping "Download", when prompted. - Once installed (takes 2-3 minutes), you’ll see Download Finished.
Your new travel eSIM is now installed, Tap "Close".
Step 3: Activate Your eSIM
- Upon arrival at your destination, open Settings.
- Ensure your new travel eSIM is selected for Mobile Data.
Select "Network and Internet" > Tap "SIMs" > Select your new "Travel eSIM". - Turn on your new Travel eSIM, let it roam.
Turn the "Use SIM" option ON > Scroll down & toggle "Mobile data" ON and "Roaming" ON. - Final step, if you are keeping your Home number active.
Your home number SIM can stay toggled ON, with "Mobile data" OFF and "Roaming" OFF.
Turning ON your travel eSIM at your destination will connect you to the local network, activating your data plan to start from that day.
