Step 1: Get Yourself Ready
- Connect to stable wi-fi or internet connection.
- After purchasing your Saudi Arabia travel eSIM, open our eSimmer email with the installation QR code.

- You will see a prompt to add a new data plan.
- Tap the prompt and follow the directions on your device.

- Upon arrival, update your Data Roaming settings >
- Ensure your eSimmer eSIM is ON, with Data Roaming ON.
- If your home SIM is active, turn OFF Data Roaming.
- Your eSIM will automatically activate to the assigned overseas network.
Last step, for Apple iOS turn OFF “Allow Cellular Data Switching”.

When will I receive my eSIM?
You will receive your travel eSIM for Saudi Arabia immediately. After purchasing your eSIM, go to your email inbox and look for our eSimmer email that includes a QR code for installation.
When should I install my eSIM?
Install your eSIM before you depart for your travels. It’s easier to do this where you have a stable internet connection, like at home or work. This way, you won’t need to depend on airport or hotel WiFi. Plus, if you install your eSIM before you leave, it will connect to the overseas network as soon as you arrive, so you can start exploring right away. (Don't try to activate your travel eSIM while you’re still at home, because it won't be able to connect to the overseas networks yet).
How do I activate my eSIM upon arrival in Saudi Arabia?
When you arrive in Saudi Arabia, we suggest you check your phone settings to make sure that your new eSimmer eSIM is turned ON and the only data source.
Your eSimmer eSIM will automatically activate to the assigned overseas network. (Don't try to activate your travel eSIM while you’re still at home, because it won't be able to connect).

When does my eSIM data plan start?
Your eSIM data plan is ready to roll as soon as you connect to the mobile network in your destination country! The first activation is when your travel SIM plan starts, and you can enjoy your data allowance for its full duration, either 10 or 30 days.
Should I turn data roaming on?
Yes, at your destination you should turn ON data roaming for your eSimmer eSim. Data roaming lets your phone use the internet and mobile data while travelling. To check your data roaming settings, follow these steps:
- Go to your phone Settings > Mobile
- Find your eSimmer eSIM and turn it ON
- Turn ON Data Roaming for your eSimmer eSIM

Can I chat with travel buddies using a Saudi Arabia eSIM?
Yes, you can. Just use a data app like Whatsapp to call or text them. Open Whatsapp, tap calls, and enter the number with the country code. You can call any number with Whatsapp, but to get calls, your travel buddy needs Whatsapp too. It’s easy to stay in touch with your eSimmer eSIM.
What are the conditions for getting a refund?
At eSimmer we know that sometimes things change after you have made a purchase. You can ask for a refund in the following circumstances:
- You don’t need the eSIM anymore due to a trip cancellation.
- You encounter an install or connection issue while abroad and we’re unable to resolve it.
If your problem is install or connection related, please contact us while you are abroad, so we can resolve it with immediate troubleshooting. Do this when you have WiFi by emailing - support@esimmer.com. If we can’t fix your problem, and provided all our purchasing guidelines have been adhered to, we will issue a full refund.
